The story behind "Diddle Wax" Drumstick Grip Wax
Hi,
I'm Grant. I'm a semi-retired
drummer with a problem! Slippery dry hands ... that become
slippery sweaty hands. Other brands of drum stick wax grip
enhancer were unavailable - and when they could be found they
were very expensive imports (often with undisclosed base
ingredients). I needed a solution ... so I created one!Diddle Wax was born early in 2023; a specially prepared & blended mixture of pure NZ Beeswax boosted with NZ Hemp Seed Oil, presented in a classy gold screw-cap aluminium container.
The name has its roots in drumming. A "diddle" is a double drum beat. On its release, it immediately attracted a huge amount of witty banter and discussion online - with people revelling in finding new inuendo in the catchy name. It's a great gift for the drummer in your life!
While Diddle Wax was originally created as a drumstick wax for drummers, it was soon noticed by the fitness community. It earned immediate accolades as an effective and easy-on-the-hands grip wax for pullup bars, bar bells, dumb bells, kettle bells, and many more WOD, fitness and sports applications. It's even great on a slippery steering wheel! I'm still finding and hearing about new uses most days.

Since I'm now mostly a semi-retired old rocker, it's time to give a little back to the drummers of the future. So my hobby of drumming morphed into a hobby of refreshing tired old kits into good looking startup kits for new drummers.
